The plan is guaranteed to cover in full the funeral director’s fees, and there is an allowance of £1200 (currently) to cover cremation fees/ interment fees, doctors fees and minister/celebrant fees. This allowance increases annually by CPI. Please note, if it is a burial you have to purchase your own plot.
Your funeral director will arrange collection from anywhere in the UK, although a fee may apply. If you die abroad then repatriation costs will be incurred.
Yes, all funeral plans can be tailored to suit individual preferences. The prepaid funeral plans can also be altered at any time (additional cost may be incurred depending on nature and extent of alterations).
